02 - The carpenter’s shop

Along the strada Provinciale, opposite to the tobacco factory, there was also a carpenter’s shop.

There is no trace of this new activity indeed, but the people of Fermignano remember it. 

In 1954 many workers and artisans opened a company of carpentry called Laboratori Artigiani Riuniti. In 1956 the building on the provinciale was built. Then the company specialized itself in making bedrooms.
